At INTERSCHUTZ, market leaders will meet to exchange information around this year's central theme "Teams, Tactics, Technology – Networking Protection and Rescue".

Fraunhofer ICT will also present a wide range of innovations for fire protection and personal safety, relating to the exhibition themes "Preventive Fire Protection" and "Protective Equipment".

Topics presented include the intrinsic flame retardancy of biopolymers and new approaches to fire fighting. Advanced composite adsorbers against toxic gases, and novel foams to degrade chemical warfare agents, will also be shown, giving an insight into the future of personal protection for emergency forces.
