From October 8 to 15, 2025, the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology ICT will be presenting new findings, exhibits, and manufacturing processes in applied plastics research at the K-Trade Fair in Düsseldorf in Hall 7, Booth C05 at the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft's joint booth.

Europe's largest vanadium redox flow battery – located at the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology - has achieved an important research milestone: In a controlled test, it was possible to successfully demonstrate for the first time how renewable energies such as wind and solar power can be fed into the power grid in a targeted and predictable manner, regardless of current weather conditions.

The international research network »PREDICTOR« aims to establish rapid, highthroughput methods to identify and develop materials for electrochemical energy storage.
