Fraunhofer ICT will present results from its applied research in foam technology at Foam Expo North America 2026 in hall C, booth number 2724, opposite of the industry stage.

Fraunhofer ICT is your specialist for research and development in the field of foams. We focus on material formulation and process optimization for insulation foams, packaging materials, technical applications, lightweight structures, and sandwich components.

Following the requirements of our industry partners, we develop and optimize customized foam solutions on our industry-scale extrusion lines and particle foam processing machines. Our services range from pure material or early-stage development to application-oriented product development and optimization.

Our expertise covers materials such as PS, PP, engineering polymers like PET, PA, and PC, as well as biopolymers including PLA, cellulose-based foams, and sustainable foams from recyclates.
