Research at Fraunhofer ICT
In our areas of work, we transfer the latest results from research into application. To this end, we work together with industry in publicly funded projects to develop new, competitive materials, processes and products on a pilot plant scale.
The second pillar is bilateral or multilateral contract research for industry. In application-related contexts clearly defined by the customer, we contribute our expertise, personnel capacities in the scientific, technical and laboratory areas and make our latest plant technology available for customer projects. In this way, we support our customers and partners so that they are well equipped to meet current challenges with innovative products and optimised processes.
If you are interested in contract research or a joint, state-funded research project with the Fraunhofer ICT, please contact us at cooperations@ict.fraunhofer.de. We look forward to incorporating our expertise into your products and applications.

Toxic PFAS are endangering our water. Now there are plans to ban them in Europe. This presents the industrial sector with major problems because these “forever chemicals” are essential to many products and processes.
