How to reach us:

By car

Approaching from Frankfurt/Main or Basel (CH)
Autobahn A5, exit Karlsruhe-Nord [43], follow B10 towards Pforzheim, turn left approx. 300 m after the tunnel and follow signs to the Fraunhofer ICT; follow Joseph-von-Fraunhoferstraße approx. 1.5 km uphill to reach the institute.

Approaching from Stuttgart or Munich
Autobahn A8, exit Pforzheim-West [43], follow B10 towards Karlsruhe, drive through Pfinztal-Berghausen, turn right after the gas station at the edge of the village and then follow signs to the Fraunhofer ICT; follow Joseph-von-Fraunhofer Straße approx. 1.5 km uphill to reach the institute.

By train

Take the train to Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof, change to the "Stadtbahn" (city tram) S4 which runs every 20 or 40 minutes towards Bretten/Eppingen/Heilbronn, exit at the stop Berghausen-Hummelberg. Travel time approx. 20 minutes, plus 10 minutes up the hill on foot. Please note that the S4 “Eilzug“ does NOT stop at the stop “Hummelberg“, and that the normal tram stops only on request (press the button near the door).

How to reach us:

By car

Motorway A9 Berlin – Munich, exit Bad Dürrenberg (Exit 18), through Bad Dürrenberg, follow the signposts to Leuna.

Motorway A38 Kassel / Göttingen – Leipzig / Dresden, exit Leuna, continue driving on B91 to Halle / Saale until you reach Leuna/InfraLeuna.

By train

Leuna has an internal railroad network for goods transport with connections to the main lines operated by the German Federal Railroad (Deutsche Bahn AG). All important connections for passenger transport are in the immediate vicinity.

Rail link Halle / Saale – Erfurt, get off at station Merseburg

Rail link Leipzig – Großkorbetha, get off at station Bad Dürrenberg

Tram line Halle / Saale – Bad Dürrenberg (Linie 5), get off at station Leuna “Am Haupttor”. The tram line leaves every half hour. The journey from Halle will take 55 minutes.

By plane

Leipzig / Halle international airport is situated 25 kilometers from Leuna. Take a taxi to Leuna.
